Technical Architect (TA)
Job Description:
1. Plan and perform requirements gathering activities according to project scope with compliance to organization standards
2. Document detailed technical requirements in Technical Specification Document (TSD) and related documents
3. Assist/co-work with Business Analysts (BA) and Software Development Engineers in software development for the project
4. Coordinate among Customers, System Integrator and the software development teams
5. Complete and obtain client approval for Technical Specification Document (TSD)
6. Review test cases written by test engineers (QA)
7. Participate in system integration test (SIT) and user acceptance test (UAT)
8. Involve in system test result evaluation
9. Coordinate and support Customers during UAT/ORT period
10. Report activity status to team leader as defined in project organization chart
11. Mentor new project team members
General Qualifications:
1. Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT related fields.
2. At least 5 years working experience in Information Technology with 2 year in software solutioning.
3. Preferred experience includes system analysis and design, software development and testing. Consulting and project management experience is a plus.
4. Excellent analytical skills, strong organizational skills
5. Ability to interpret and code based on defined standards
6. Experience in the banking domain is necessary, and security and performance related technologies is an asset
7. Possess capability to work well with non-technical staff in defining requirements
8. Self-motivated & result oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
9. Team player and able to work in multi-cultural environment
10. Strong ownership feeling
11. Must have the ability to interact with senior external personnel on significant functional matters often requiring coordination between organizations
12. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines
13. Experience with software documentation utilities and job control languages is required.
14. Experience with analysis, design methodologies such as UML, BOOCH and Object Oriented Design is required;
15. Experience in JUnit tests and test driven development is a plus
16. Excellent Thai and English communication with presentation skills

2. Strong skills in Java, EJB, J2EE/J2SE, JSP, Web Service, SOAP, SOA, HTML, XML, J2ME, MQ Series, Websphere, Weblogic, and related technologies are required;
3. IBM Mainframes: DB2
4. Data warehousing/Business Intelligence: Teradata, Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Enterprise Suite, Actuate, DataStage
