RESPONSIBILITIES The Training Project Manager will assume ownership of a key area of expertise to assist in the development of a highly-performing workforce and create critical capacity to achieve the goals and objectives of the overall organization. This is a highly visible position with opportunity for development and advancement. Specific Duties: Lead the assessment of training needs and opportunities within a specific area of expertise including the identification of key training audiences and partners. Areas include, but are not limited to: Automation/Operations, Safety, Contract Employees, Equipment/Maintenance, and Language training. Develop and implement a training and development strategy which creates capacity and high level of performance within the organization. Implement performance evaluation processes to determine success of program and ensure alignment to the plant mission and goals. Coordinate the development, publication and updating of multilingual training tools and materials. Establish and maintain network with worldwide factory partners to identify and implement best known methods and plan-of-record systems REQUIREMENTS: Have at least 2 years of experience as a program/project manager; experience with training or performance initiatives is ideal. Be output and service driven with a proven ability to deliver products in a demanding, dynamic, multicultural, multilingual, and multi-stakeholder environment. Have experience assessing and interpreting business and translating these quickly into appropriate training tools, materials and curricula for specific target audiences. Have excellent inter-personal and communication skills to foster and motivate a broad range of partners and collaborators. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Be dynamic, self-motivated and highly innovative. Excellent communications skills. Must be able to communicate with data and make effective presentations. Must have a proficient command of the English language, both oral and written. Education: Master's degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related area. Extensive related business experience may substitute for advanced degree. |
