DESCRIPTION The Training Coordinator will assist in the overall deployment of training programs for a large, technical manufacturing facility. This is an entry position, with opportunity for growth and development into project management and training specialist positions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Training data management: enter data into tracking systems, pull reports from these systems to inform stakeholders about progress and gaps; ensure data is accurate and that reports provide meaningful information. This includes systems tracking training plans, certifications, and course completions. Course deployment: forecast needs, schedule courses, communicate availability of courses, provide materials. New Employee Orientation support: partner with Human Resources to ensure that all new hires are appropriately scheduled into the orientation, all materials and resources are available, provide materials, schedule campus tours, recruit instructors, schedule rooms, communicate progress to hiring managers and other key stakeholders. Also ensure that accounts and badges are issued. Document and communicate business processes. Special projects in support of business needs. REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE Excellent customer service skills. Basic computer skills required: spreadsheets and word processing experience. Specifically, use of Microsoft products is highly desired. Requires a can do attitude and solid decision making skills. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Strong time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring multi-tasking. Excellent communications skills. Good Command of English both oral and written is required, TEM 6 is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, English, Education, Communications, or related area. 2-3 years successful experience in a similar position is an acceptable substitute for a degree. |
