Job Title: Sr. Software Design Engineer (Japanese Skills)
Location: Beijing, China
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Software Design Engineer, you will work with PM and Test teams to design, develop, and deliver quality features for Live Search services.
-You must feel comfortable operating within a fast moving research and development team.
-You should have great core development skills: strong passion for delivering quality products, proven track record of working with PM/Test/Research in a product group, great design, coding, and debugging skills, and excellent written and oral communication.
-The ability to handle multiple concurrent releases and demonstrated experience driving for results in a cross-group/ team project is a must.
Required Qualifications:
-You should possess a strong technical background and a good grasp of software engineering principles, exceptional problem solving, design, and programming skills, and a minimum of 2 years experience in delivering software solutions.
-You should be self-motivated and self-directed and able to mentor team members. A demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain is presumed.
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are very important.
-You must be fluent in Japanese. Chinese language skills are a strong plus.
-Knowledge and experiences in Nature Language Processing, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Information Retrieval, Data Mining, performance tuning are a plus.
-This position is located in Beijing, China.
