Key Responsibilities
Plan Reports development strategy and lead a team of Actuate developers for technology vision
Assume complete execution responsibility of small-to-medium scale projects
Design, develop and test report in Actuates ERDPro conforming to requirements
Develop and test PL/SQL procedures
Understand business requirements through direct interaction and define the scope of work
Maintain Quality documents and follow the process defied for development
Ensure adherence to change management processes and assist in facilitating the ongoing review and enhancement of these processes.
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience of Report writing in Actuate or Crystal Reports. Actuate experience would be preferred
At least 2 years commercial experience with Oracle Development. Hands on SQL and PL/SQL experience (2 yrs +)
Understanding UML modelling concepts
Ability to work in both Windows and UNIX platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong team leader
Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, flexible, responsible, and deliver quality work on time
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience & good understanding of full development life cycle.
1+ years practical experience in web development
Some exposure to distributed object technology & J2EE
Experience in the use of a source control management system.
Experience of application servers (preferably Websphere Advanced/Enterprise). |
