Job Description:
•Hands on Development Engineering environment for Global Service Provider environment
•Conduct and coordinate various functional and regression test scenarios for various features with full suite of multi vendor routers and switches
•Must be able to take the leadership of the team to oversee large scale development and testing effort
•Provide technical training as necessary related to work environment.

Required Education, Training, Skills and Experience:
•Must have a college degree, a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
•Minimum 8 years experience in the related field, preferred with a 5 years on Cisco products
•Must have solid background in TCP/IP and all popular protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc
•Must have solid knowledge and experience in MPLS VPN, QoS, etc
•Solid background of frame relay and ATM principles and ISDN services.
•Clear low level understanding of various Cisco router architecture
•Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and bugs
•Experienced in working with Cisco TAC support
•Must have solid experience working in the development engineering lab environment with various tools such as traffic generator, sniffer, SNMP tool
•Scripting experience with TCL preferred
•CCIE or equivalent is preferred.
•Preferred if having working experience with large service provider
•Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with remote colleagues. Good technical reading and writing skills are a must, preferred with experienced at writing technical proposals and documentation
•Project planning and project management skills.
•Must be a self motivated and be able to take on large and complex projects.
•Flexibility to work well as a member of a team.
•Be able to work as a lead engineer in a team atmosphere.
Desired Training, Skills and Experience:
•Ability to understand large-scale networks design and backup solutions.
•Experience with network performance modeling.
•Work non-standard hours for periods of time as needed.
•Occasional travel.
