OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
As part of Accenture Procurement Solutions (APS) organization, the procurement admin will be responsible for implementing and managing procurement systems, processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and controls for Accenture in the Asia Pacific region.
This role will provide operational support to the client, working with the sourcing team to ensure internal service levels are maintained on a day-to-day basis.
This role will be based in a centralized procurement support centre located in Dalian, China, right now consisting of 7 procurement professionals
Responsibility
Perform support on request of onshore sourcing, i.e. Spend and Supplier analysis, complete Supplier Shortlist, Send RFQ, eRFX system support, Evaluate Response, select supplier.
Assist the development, implementation and management of procurement policies and procedures to manage the acquisition of all products and services from third party suppliers.
To contribute towards annual cost savings in excess of $XM through the aggregation of Accenture’s spend volume and compliance with preferred suppliers.
Manage the supplier contract database to support on-shore contract management. Perform administrative tasks on suppliers and contract types, values, etc. agreed upon with the on-shore Contract Management Specialist
Benefit Tracking via e-saving management tool.
To continually promote and demonstrate the value that the procurement department can deliver the organisation. The implementation of a consistent supplier relationship management program to ensure that contractual obligations are adhered to and continuous improvements are realized.
Support Accenture Procurement Solutions to develop its ‘Outsourced Procurement Services Capability’ to service the needs of external clients.
Supporting other procurement sourcing activities as directed by the S&CM Support Centre Lead.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 year experience of working within a transactional procurement department. 2. Good interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers / customers on a regular basis) Enthusiastic and self-motivated: will plan, prioritise and deliver own work 3. Flexible and proactive 4. Good coordination and planning skills, well organized 5. Thorough and structured approach to work 6. Issue resolution and problem solving skills 7. Well versed in standard procurement terms and conditions 8. Some legal training or exposure desirable 9. Good IT procurement skills 10. PC (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and / or other Requisitioning tools essential 11. Good written and spoken English skills; additional Mandarin and/or Cantonese an advantage
Educations & Qualifications
Preferably graduate with technically oriented degree Have a demonstrable track record of commercial international experience in buying goods and commodities
