Regional Head for Global Quality
Overall Purpose: The position requires supporting execution of GBS Quality strategy. The role demands to be accountable for identifying cost saving/cost avoidance/value adds opportunities and also maintaining all the process/efficiency improvement projects in the region. The position requires delivering method/innovation programs, LeanSigma methodology implementation, project closure/certification; auditing, assessing, defining, ensuring consistency of sigma metrics, internal/external audits and VOC surveys, and requires capability building, training on LeanSigma with in GBS organization. It requires close working with the global quality function and regional/center managers for an effective execution.
Required Skills:
Hands on knowledge of Implementation of Lean/Six Sigma in Manufacturing and/or Service Environment.
Certified/Trained Master Black Belt or Black Belt or Lean Management
Good working knowledge of other continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen, Total Quality Management, TPM, Value Engineering, Theory of Constraints etc
Good working knowledge of business finance ,Supply Chain,Sales & Marketing and Costings
Good experience in Program Management.
Problem Solver, Team Player, Attitude to Innovate and Excel and handle management of change.
Knowledge of QMS like ISO-9001, CMM/COPC, Malcom Baldridge criteria.
KRA 1: Drive execution of overall GBS Quality strategy for respective center/regions.
KRA 2: Identifying Opportunities (Prevention as applicable) in the area of cost saving/cost avoidance/value adds for region / center / customer
KRA 3: Opportunity execution in respective region/center / business processes as requested
Track savings from closed projects, review savings w.r.t. GOA Efficiency plans.
Closure & certification of projects post audits & validations.
KRA 4: Administer QMS, Audits (Internal/External
KRA 5 : VoC
KRA 6: Capability building on methodologies e.g. IE, LEAN, Six Sigma
KRA 7: Sigma Metrics

Qualification:
Graduate / post graduate in Engineering, Finance, Management.
Professional Certifications in skill domain is a must.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience. For a high performance candidate, with higher qualification and required skills, required experience can be relaxed
